Chief Executive, William Hill

Ralph Topping was appointed Chief Executive of William Hill in February 2008, with responsibility for the Group’s overall strategic direction and day-to-day management.  He was appointed to the Board in April 2007.  Ralph joined William Hill in 1973 and has previously held various roles within William Hill, mostly recently as Group Director, Operations, responsible for all UK-based operations. From 2002 to 2007 he was Retail Operations Director and, prior to that, pioneered William Hill’s internet presence and online operations, establishing a market-leading position.

Since being appointed Chief Executive, Ralph has refocused the business on its retail and online operations, withdrawn from international land-based operations and completed a transformational deal with Playtech to establish William Hill Online as one of Europe’s leading online betting and gaming companies.
